As soon as I heard this band was from the Maritimes, I knew it was going to be a good show. The Maritimers know how to rock, it's a known fact. And these five guys from Charlottetown, P.E.I. could definitely rock. It was my first time even hearing Two Hours Traffic, but I left with a new favorite band.

Starting off strong with "Stuck For The Summer", a catchy song with equally catchy lyrics, I knew this would be a good one. Yes, I know it sounds like I'm easily pleased, but these guys just struck me hard and I couldn't look away - something that doesn't happen too often. Keeping the foot-tapping melodies and the upbeat tempos going, THT continued with some of their better known songs, like "Jezebel" and "Backseat Sweetheart", each with its own great beat and rhythm.

The more songs they played, the more the crowd moved and danced along. These guys hypnotized many others, not just me, and not just because of their spanking good looks. Near the end of the set, they played some new songs that will be on the upcoming album, including standout track "Territory", which had an acoustic guitar fronting electronic instruments. The acoustic guitar gave that authentic Maritime feel to the songs, which really got the audience clapping and pumping until the band had to get off the stage.
