Final Fantasy a k a Owen Pallett @ Ukrainian Federation
Thursday, 10pm Essentially a solo act, this is the show that makes unusual simplicity so very magical. Armed only with a violin and a sampler, which loops back previously played parts, Final Fantasy demonstrates a talent so rare in this day and age of over the top theatrics.

Man Man @ La Sala Rossa
Thursday, 12am If you think you've seen it all in indie-rock then you haven't seen Man Man. This Philadelphia quintet somehow manages to fit guitars, accordions, saxophones, keys, steel buckets, toys, spoons and bowls of water into theatrical and often enigmatic live performances. This is a show you will never forget.

Patrick Wolf @ Le Cabaret Juste Pour Rire
Friday, 10pm Having Bloc Party as one of your biggest fans can get a lot of bands a good deal of attention. But Patrick Wolf has been garnering most of the hype all on his own. Having written, produced and arranged his latest album, Wolf's intriguing personality coupled with an exceptionally gifted songwriting ability, makes this show a must-see.

Grizzly Bear @ Ukrainian Federation
Friday, 10pm The intimate confines of the Ukrainian Federation are the perfect stage for the woozy, albeit harmonious, complexities that make up Grizzly Bear. Their seemingly flawless sets bring their seductively haunting lyrics to life. This is one band that will make you want to dance and cry and everything in between.

Hot Hot Heat @ Club Soda
Sunday, 9:30pm As the Montreal summer fades into the colors of fall, Hot Hot Heat bring their playful melodies to Club Soda, where they're sure to raise the temperature, if only for a few hours. The band has shown a more adventurous and experimental side with the release of their third studio album, so this show is sure to be something new for even the die-hard fan.
