Songs You Can Dance Around Your Apartment To - March 27, 2009

If you live in a temperate climate anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere, you have, of course, already noticed that Spring is well on it's way. This is bound to make you a more cheerful person, and, by extension, lead you to dance around your apartment more often than you have been over the last few months. It is only natural.

But before you get carried away, I've discovered that if you're suddenly going to be increasing the amount of apartment dancing you're doing, you're going to want to pace yourself. Do not overdo it. Let's face it, it's been a long winter and you're out of shape. And while you're bound to get out of the gate quickly, especially with sunshine-friendly songs like Os Mutantes' "Bat Macumba", by the time you get to, say, The Dirtbombs' "Thunder In The Sky" you might be a little winded. Remember: It's okay to take breaks. Sit down. Catch your breath. Maybe do a little air guitar. And keep hydrated. This should help you avoid the dark spots that might otherwise appear at the edges of your vision.
