Daniel Lanois in Motorcycle Crash

Legendary producer/musician Daniel Lanois has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. The New York Times is reporting Lanois (arguably best known for producing albums by U2, including The Joshua Tree) spilled his bike while riding through his LA Neighborhood and has been admitted to hospital. Upcoming shows and CD releases have been postponed. We wish him a speedy recovery.

Strokes are Back

New York hipsters The Strokes are reuniting for their first show in four years. The garage rich kids played a bunch of old favorites to a crowd of 500 in London's Camden neighborhood; apparently they're saving the new material for this year's summer festivals.

Kanye's Back Too!

But did he ever really go away? The king of being a total social weirdo returned to the stage with panache: at a Chicago high school for his 'Stay in School' initiative. West treated excited students to samples from his upcoming album, Good Ass Job (ugh).
