Flaming Lips Cast Timberlake in New Flick?

Wayne Coyne wants to bring sexy back to Flaming Lips flicks. For the follow-up to the band's categorically weird 2008 movie Christmas on Mars, Coyne is reportedly pleading with Justin Timberlake to take a part. Lil Wayne Goes to Jail, TI Gets Out

Major comings and goings (from jail) in the rap world on Tuesday: first, after many bizarre delays (including a whopping eight root canals), Lil Wayne is heading to Rikers Island prison. Weezy will be spending a year as a guest of the state following his guilty plea to charges of possession of a loaded gun on his tour bus. T.I. is finishing up his weapons-related sentence in an Atlanta halfway house, and has announced his return to the stage with the single, "I'm Back". Click here to hear the track.

Pink Floyd Sues EMI

Prog rock pioneers and hippie mind-blowers Pink Floyd are taking their record label to court. The band claims that EMI miscalculated the band's royalty payments for online sales. Specifically, the group's lawyer stated that the label has been "expressly prohibited" from unbundling songs from their original release package (album/LP) and selling them singly. EMI retorted that this agreement does not apply to online sales. The legal battle, taking place in London's High Court, is expected to be lengthy.
