Green Day

New Green Day

It's been less than a year since Green Day's latest effort, 21st Century Breakdown, and a new album is already on the horizon. Billy Joe Armstrong said the band started working on new material during some down time they had last October on their European tour.  "We did some demos in Berlin, some in Stockholm, some just outside of Glasgow and some in Amsterdam," Armstrong told Kerrang!. "We wanted to get [the new songs] down in some early form." Don't forget, Green Day also releases their own Rock Band game later this year.

Fighting Words from Liam Gallagher

Liam Gallagher of Oasis has taken aim at U2, saying he has never met a true fan of the band. "I have never seen a U2 fan. I have never seen anyone with a U2 shirt or been around someone's house that has a fucking U2 record. Where do their fans fucking come from? Where are they?" Liam is also convinced that U2 pay people to go to their concerts; "I reckon they buy them. With all the money they've made, they just bought a load of people and every time they do a gig they get a shovel and pile them into their gigs to make them look good." Anyone out there up for sending Liam your U2 memorabilia?
