3. Get Born by Jet

Comparing yourself to one of the most diverse and talented bands of all time can be a risky business. Especially if that band is The Beatles and you are an average Aussie band named Jet. Anyone expecting the complex pop arrangements and fusion of Indian and psychedelic styles as apparent on Revolver will be sadly disappointed by Jets' similarly emblazoned Get Born. Selecting to pay homage to Revolver, not only through album artwork but also through their subsequent music videos, was hopelessly consistent with an average band trying to seem cooler than they are through home-made association to something altogether more potent and meaningful.
