CMW Live: Bobnoxious THE KATHEDRAL - MAR. 9 - by James Sandham - Before I went upstairs to see Psychotic 4 at the Reverb, I stepped into the basement-level Kathedral and straight into the full-on sonic assault of Bobnoxious. There was probably only about 30 people at the foot of the stage in an otherwise empty bar, but Bobnoxious were still rocking-the-fuck-out, badder than no one's business and emasculating the crowd with successive blasts of their bald-headed aggression in an attempt, apparently, to drive off the meager few who actually dared to show up and experience this madness. Think Minor Threat mixed with Black Flag and a whole bunch of amphetamine-driven rage. Good music to get knocked out to, or spat on. I only got the latter and felt I'd seen enough.
